NDA 2 2024 Result Announced

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the results for the National Defence Academy (NDA) 2 2024 examination. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their results on the official UPSC website.

The result includes the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the SSB interview round. The selection process will continue with the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview scheduled to commence from July 2024.

What is NDA?

The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the premier joint services training institution of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force undergo training together before proceeding to their respective service academies for specialized pre-commissioning training. Located in Khadakwasla, Pune, NDA is the first tri-service academy in the world.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence.
Educational Qualification: For Army Wing - 12th Class pass from any recognized board. For Air Force and Naval Wings - 12th Class pass with Physics and Mathematics.
Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards for height, weight, and vision as specified by the respective services.

Selection Process

The NDA selection process consists of two stages: a written examination conducted by UPSC followed by the SSB interview. The written examination comprises two papers - Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks). Candidates who qualify the written exam are called for the SSB interview which consists of psychological tests, group tasks, and personal interviews.
